Jenece Johnson Chapter 10 1. What is meant by the following phrases:  drink structure drink families free- pouring , and  building a drink? a. A drinks’ structure is what is in a drink to make it. If drinks are rum based, they can be a part of a drink family. Free pouring is a quick way for experienced bartenders to pour by silently counting instead of using a jigger. Building a dink is simply putting the drink together in mixing glass. 2. How do you measure the following drink ingredients: liquor, ice, mix? a. Depending on the drink, jiggers are sometimes used to measure the liquor or free pouring is used by more trained bartenders. If the drink is on the rocks the glass should be packed with ice unless requested different by the customer. When mixes are used they should the last ingredients and should fill the glass completely after every other ingredients is added.
