One hundred guests were invited to attend the beachfront ceremony with the exchange of vows and r ings and the indoor r eception with cocktail hour, hors d’oeuvres and dinner. The guest l ist was set at one hundred to include all of the Ahlambar and G reco immediate and extended family, the M iami Heat team members and managers, and close friends of the bride and/or g room. Although the couple and the respective families could a fford to entertain more than one hundred guests, the decision was made to limit the list to one hundred to retain the intimacy a nd simplicity of the ceremony and immediate reception. Giovanni is a high profile individual and many of the guests are high profile i ndividuals as well. The event received publicity, but with regard to the limited guest list the event endured minimal t rouble concerning uninvited guests and paparazzi-type characters/attention. T wenty-five individuals received extended invitations to remain w ith the bride and groom at the Sirata Beach Resort for their

Both the bridal party and the groomsmen r eceived invitations as well as the immediate family of both the A hlambars and Greco along with various close friends of the bride a nd groom. The wedding had the budget to provide such accommodations to their close friends and family, so the couple decided to share the commencement of their new life with the people that supported and that will continue to feed their new foundations. The couple and guests stayed at the Sirata Beach Resort for an additional two nights to relax and enjoy each other’s company before returning to a regular workload in the midst of September and a new life to create for Pia and Giovanni.
