The advantage of this method is that you can more easily repeat a slide and also, you can read the notes that appear beneath each slide as you listen to the narration. These notes are the text that is being narrated. A) To View as a Slide Show: (1) click on slide show at the top of the screen to drop down the menu. (2) then click on view show. The slides will then fill the entire screen. You must manually click through the slides until you come to the first spreadsheet. From then on you will hear a narration and the slides will begin activating automatically at the end of each narration. To skip the narration and go to the next slide, left click anywhere on the screen. To end the show, right click and then select end show. When the show is finished, left click anywhere on the screen and you will B) To View Slides Manually in the Format in Which You Are Now Viewing Them (1) To select a slide move the cursor next to the slide at the left of the screen. (2) To activate the sound, right click on the light blue loudspeaker that appears in the upper left hand corner of each slide, then left click on play sound. (3) To read the notes beneath each slide use the up and down arrows to the right of the notes. (4) To stop the sound, simply choose another slide. Each slide contains, beneath it, a copy of the text that is being narrated for that slide . TWO WAYS TO PRINT THESE NOTES UNDER EACH SLIDE: (1) If the text is not very lengthy, then you can print both the slide and the text beneath it by doing the following: a) click on File at top of screen b) then click on Print c) then look for a box that says: Print what: d) Click on the arrow next to the box and select Notes pages e) if you wish to print the current slide only, then on this same drop down menu look for print range and click on the button under Current slide. e) click on OK (2) When the text is too long, then the entire text will not print under the slide if you use the above procedure.- In this case, you must highlight the text under the slide that you wish to copy. - Then press the right mouse button and from the menu that appears on the screen select copy. - Then open a blank page in a word processing program such as Microsoft Word, or the Word Pad that comes with Windows (do not use the Note Pad because it does not format well), and copy the text into that program. - You do this by placing the cursor anywhere on a blank page in the word processing program and right clicking again....
