03:19 Social Learning Theory: Women are feminine because they learn feminine behavior by imitating other feminine women. Additionally, women and girls are reinforced for feminine behaviors, but are punished for masculine ones. Cognitive social learning theory: adds an emphasis on cognitive processes Attention: process focuses on relevant behaviors o ex: pay more attention to same-gender models than other-gender models Self-regulation: monitor own behavior and regulate it according to internalized gender norms o example: little girl watch dad change tire but doesn’t do it herself because its doesn’t fit her gender role to do that kind of thing. Shell refrain from doing it because she is self regulating Self-efficacy : belief in ability to accomplish a particular task, plays a role in maintaining gender-typed behaviors o (domain specific)- high in one task, low in another.. High in math, low in science.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
