34.1 What Is the Basic Body Plan of Plants? Most angiosperms are in two major clades. Monocots are narrow-leaved plants such as grasses, lilies, orchids, and palms. Eudicots are broad-leaved plants such as soybeans, roses, sunflowers, and maples.
