Mario Colacino Victim & Domestic Violence Professors Muni4th May 2020 Journal #2 The world is still being victimized by Covid 19; people are stressed, sick, scared, and panic around the world. Unfortunately, there is no immediate light at the end of this tunnel that humanity finds themselves in. We human beings are being tested beyond belief to keep our own mental and physical composure during these dier times. However, experts and statistical information point that Covid 19 may not be the only problem that we are all forced to face. Experts and my prior information suggest that many different groups of people may become victims of several crimes due to the Covid 19 outbreak. First and foremost it is very obvious that human beings just like all living creatures need personal space. However, due to the Covid 19 outbreak, many individuals find themselves trapped home with their own family and in some cases extended family and friends. This constant human tension can cause even the closest of families to experience some type of domestic violence. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,” 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men in the United States have experienced violence from an intimate partner in their lifetime— and the risks to victims are severe.
