The COVID 19 epidemic that isravaging through not just our nation but the world feels all too unreal. My personal experiencewith the outbreak has been one that has forever changed the way I look at life. The outbreak ofcoronavirus has been stressful for people. It’s caused fear and anxiety to fill the hearts of peoplearound the world. The disease can be extremely overwhelming and cause strong emotions inadults and children. Stress during an infectious disease outbreak can include; fear and worryabout your health and the health of your loved ones; changes in sleep or eating patterns;difficulty sleeping or concentrating; worsening of chronic health problems; worsening of mentalhealth conditions; increased use of alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs. Not to mention the economicburden that COVID has put on the entire world. In this paper, I will go into depth on how Ibecame the victim of COVID 19.As many Americans are aware COVID 19 seemed to be taken as a joke for the most part.It did not become a reality until it started to affect individual Americans' lives. In my situationthe first thing to close for me was college. At first, I believed the idea of doing classes at homewould make my life much easier. I wouldn’t have to drive nor worry about the fees for traveling
to school. This was, in fact, my last semester and I believed it would just be a long spring breakand we would be back to class in a few weeks. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case as we allknow today we won’t be able to return to college and see our friends, professors, and receive theproper education we paid for. I truly feel upset at heart knowing I went to school for four yearsand won't be able to go to my graduation due to the fact I and my peers can catch COVID 19.The pandemic has taken away something I have worked extremely hard for leaving a feeling ofgrief in its place.The pandemic then began to affect the economy and the average working American. Iwas given a reduction in hours initially working for Olive Garden. I then eventually told myservices were no longer needed. I was told that I would have my job when things returned shortlybut as I sit here typing this paper I realize the near future is still so far away. I was given
