Mario ColacinoLaw and PoliticsProfessor KitchDecember 16th 2019Week 9 H.W.The United States court system to everyday Americans is too much to grasp as a whole.The majority of Americans will never know the extent of different powers and rights thatcourtrooms have besides what they see on tv and experience in their own lives. the state courtsystem is a state judicial structure. Not even structure, most Americans don't even know thedifference between a federal court and a state court case.The United States is made up of individual states, these individual states have their rightsand laws under the federal government, one of which is the ability to create its court system.These court systems are pretty much identical to one another depending on the state you go to,but the majority consists of three different court levels. They have their Trial court, appellatecourts, and a state supreme court. The next level up would be District Court than Circuit court.Depending on the State it may have a magnitude of different courtscrime/subject-oriented such as drug court, which purely deals with drug use related crimes.
