EE 210, Spring 2011 Homework #7 Due: Friday March 4 in class Instructions: The following problems deal with superposition and Thevenin and Norton equivalent circuits. Solve all of the problems; a subset of them will be chosen for grading. Solutions to all of the problems will be posted on ANGEL. We have also provided the answer to selected problems. 1. Use the principle of superposition to find the output voltage, v out , in the following amplifier circuit. Sketch the appropriate circuits used to determine the contributions out v and out v due to the input signals v 1 and v 2 , respectively. Determine the values of out v , out v and the total v out . 2. When a 2-k load is connected to the terminals A–B of the network in the figure, the current through the load is I L = 10 mA. If a 10-k load is connected to the terminals, I L = 6 mA.
