What is your overall opinion on the community era of policing as opposed to past eras and their role in society? What aspects of the previous eras would be beneficial today? Should policing continue with the way it is going; be integrated with past policies; or be completely reformed again? How effective is this era of policing in your community? Explain. My overall opinion of the community era of policing as opposed to past eras is simple. I believe that before the jobs of the officers was alot simpler than it is today, they were seen as the good people, now the police are seen more as bad people, and they have also gotten alot stricter. I feel that the police being more strict was necessary in todays times. In a simpler time, the police's job was simple, now in more complex times, they have a more complex role.
