Jeffrey Witt Droid X Cell Phone Professor Lee Paper #4 Action Programs Section 1: Action Programs The best promotion would be in two parts. The first part being by launching a new advertising campaign and the second would be by giving away or raffling off a limited number of Droid X’s in order to entice public interest, create awareness, and establishes positive customer product relationships. Instead of laying advertising bait down and waiting for the consumer to come to us, we should bring the product to the consumer as an effective means to increase sales. If there is a large crowd of people watching what the Droid X can do, showing how it beats the competition and letting the consumer try it out to witness it themselves will create awareness and consumer interest in the product. Then by holding a raffle or randomly giving a few away to the crowd and interest will grow larger and through the laws of statistics and odds people will want to buy the cell phone on the spot.
