Running head: School Uniforms 2 School Uniforms One of the biggest problems throughout United States public school system has been requiring students in public school to wear uniforms. School uniforms is well known to be used by private school, while public school faculty lets their students go off and wear whatever they want and be able to express themselves by the clothing they wear. Public schools students wear clothing that is sometimes inappropriate for the environment, but with providing uniforms throughout each state this problem will change. About twenty-five percent of the state’s public schools elementary through high school have succeeded into putting into service a school uniform policy. Having school uniforms will prevent students from committing violence within the school properties.

Since every gang has a certain color or colors that show which gang they belong to. Having every student wearing the same type of clothing, gang members wouldn’t have any idea in who are the rivals and that would solve the biggest issues that each school has been having and has today. This will also help the school security guards spot any intruders that are trying to promote violence against each other. Having school uniforms minimize the violence that is going on in school by reducing some sources of conflict. “If it means that teenagers will stop killing each other over designer
