Draw the boundary of the drainage basin divide for the creek east of St. Michael Chapel (Point A). Use the bridge 0.1 mi southeast of the chapel as the mouth of the basin. Hint: Chapel Creek is the river outlined in thick black Refer to map 2. At the bridge on Chapel Creek, the following measurements were made: Width of channel at water surface = 10 ft Mean depth = 2 ft Average channel velocity = 1.0 ft/sec What is the discharge of the stream? Be sure to include the units. 20 ft squared/sec 3. What is the relief of the Chapel Creek basin? Hint A: "Relief" simply means the difference in elevation between highest and lowest points. Hint B: The contour interval is 10 feet.
