Homework When: assigned in a weekly base (usually Tuesday). A total of ~10 homework are assigned. Where: in the class and web Due time: before the beginning of the class in a week when they are assigned. – Late homework will not be accepted unless an official document of justification is submitted. Homework is graded in percentile – 100 denotes full points – 0 score denotes no credit at all. The average of homework is computed as the total of the homework scores divided by total number of homework (~10 homework). The average of homework is counted in 10% in overall grading

Grading Exams in the whole semester: 4 closed-book tests and 1 closed book final exam Test questions are generally based on the examples in the book or class, homework in the book and other books. One cheating sheet of letter-sized paper: anything handwriting on two sides except photocopy No laptop, PDA is allowed A test absence may only be excused in the event of severe illness or family emergency.
