Rate items 1, 3, 4, 9, 12, and 13 from the Common Beliefs Survey and record your initial thoughts for each in the Activity Results column. 2. Review the background information for each item in the Common Beliefs document and record in the Activity Results column whether your opinion on each changed after reading the background information. 3. Select 1 or 2 Questions to Consider from the Common Beliefs document to answer for each item. Conduct your own research on the topic and identify 1 or 2 peer- reviewed resources to reference in your response. 4. Compose a cohesive answer to your selected questions which includes citations from your peer-reviewed resources and specific reference to your own classroom and/or the underserved population you identified in your Module 1 Assignment. Record your answer in the Personal Reflection column. 1. 1. Agree. Having an equal mindset creates an equal classroom. I only care about another person’s intentions not his skin color. 3. Strongly Agree. You have to differentiate instruction being a good teacher requires it. 4. Strongly Disagree. Public speaking is a necessity and it will always be required in my class. 9. Strongly Agree. Differentiating instruction is very important for your inclusion and foreign students. 12. Disagree. Helping students become good people is just as important as helping them become good students.
