Marketing Trends Consider the broad changes occurring in marketing today and identify themes that you believe are emerging from these changes. Can these themes and changes be related to societal forces? How? Provide examples of societal changes and how these changes have impacted the way marketing activities are conducted. Respond to at least two of your classmates’ postings I believe the changes come when each company have more competitors to compete against. Just in the past twenty years, I have noticed a significant change in Jonesboro a city just ten miles away from where I live. When I first moved into this area, companies like K-Mart, Sears, McDonalds, Burger King, they did not have very much competition, but now it seems as if there is a store opening up on every corner, so they have to develop a very great marketing strategy. These companies must also form a great customer relationship so they have repeat business, if they do not, word will get out, and their business may suffer the effects of poor customer service.
