TIPS FROM VIP READERS “Assign numerical scores to everything on your list. Make the tougher, longer, more important items high scoring, and the easy things very low numbers. Then each day try to get the highest score you can. In the evening add up your score.” – Baron * “When you schedule something (a call, meeting, etc) do it at 'odd' times. Typically these things are scheduled to start and stop on the hour or half hour (e.g. 1:00 - 2:00), but if you schedule it at, say, 9:20- 9:40 it implies to the other person that you are managing your time more closely. They'll be more punctual, and focused.” – D.W.A. * “I get distracted rather easily when online. Thanks in part to The Game, it's not due to porn, however I set up heavy web browser restrictions, and use ‘Time Rescue’ to track my online productivity.” – John P. * “I try to assign small, specific increments of time to tasks; 20 minutes to write a lesson plan; 20 to rewrite it as a video script; 30 minutes to edit a video lesson, and so forth. Telling myself to finish in a finite time helps me focus and avoid distractions.” – Benj www.NeilStrauss.com
