Persuasive Speech Outline Topic: The Right to Anonymity General Purpose: To persuade Proposition: Government secrecy causes Americans to suffer. Specific Purpose: At the end of my speech the audience will agree and feel that the right to anonymity is wrong when it comes to our government. Introduction: I feel that as an American citizen that we as a people use the right to anonymity on an everyday basis. We as people keep secrets and are brief about the facts all the time with others. We tend to carry on our conversations and our way of life on a need to know basis. So anonymity within others and us is a natural thing. But when it comes to the right of anonymity within the government, I feel that there is no right. I strongly feel that the government needs to let its citizens know everything that is going on within the walls of the Senate, to the White House. The right of secrecy is not an option when it comes down to our money, safety, and security. Body:
