THET  18:55                                              DESIGNERS ADRIANNA  diaz- costume design: training Undergrand, internship about tech. costume skills -then freelancing costume design after a few years, went back to school, now in second year of grad school.  design is a  continually learning process- training never ending Ariel diaz- lighting design: - started in highschool with a design program -undergrad –duel degree in performance and design tech -grad at umd to study light design- every day is a learning experience Collin Ranney- scenic- always been an artist -theatre design at buffalo undergrad- work semi professionally around, and had  internships to work on skills for grad program umd to work on masters.  – masters in fine arts***** STEPS IN DESIGN PROCESS?- from time you are hired until the show opens? 1)***** Read the play- (what are you reading for?)- read it atleast 3 times 1 st - to enjoy it 2 nd - looking for more details 3 rd - trying to get the feel, over all themes and concepts and needs of the show
