Jaymin Patel Patel 1 Eng 101 Dr. Seema Kurup Sep. 13, 2007 My First Job at Al's Beef The first job I had was at Al's Beef, an Italian Restaurant, located in a small suburban town outside of Chicago. It isn't a classy restaurant, it isn't even a clean one, but during the hours that its open in the morning it is probably the busiest place within ten miles. Although the food there is very good, the main reason people eat their lunch and dinner is because of the restaurant's cozy atmosphere and timeless quality. The restaurant is in a building that is only two years old but when you first walk in and take a seat, it seems like you just traveled backwards in time. Along one side of the dining area, there is a counter with stools where people go to eat and read the daily newspaper. The tables and the countertops are a gray-white color, underneath a pattern of random brown lines that look like an old and different style. There are 25 tables with 100 chairs which are made up of dark wood. The walls in the room are divided
