Jaymin Patel English 102 Tom Croak April 02, 2008 Analysis of The Story of an Hour In "The Story of an Hour" Kate Chopin describes the story of an woman, Mrs. Mallard whose husband is thought to be dead. When I first read this story I really liked how it is started, but at the end I really got confused. I had many questions about the end of the story. The author really did a good job about the way of writing this story. Kate Chopin describes the emotion of Mrs. Mallard throughout the whole story when she heard the news about her husband's death. In this story, the author describes the story with the different styles, themes and some symbolisms. "The theme of "The Story of an Hour" is do not believe everything that is told to you until you see it yourself."
