Explanation : This movie is a great example of how government or politicians promote the idea of global warming and how we the humans have affected and contributed in the climate change through the media. Al Gore, who was a vice president of the United States during the 1993 to 2001 under President Bill Clinton, also ran the election to be the President of the United Stated. He is the presenter of the statistics and the data which were presented in the documentary. The ideology of this movie is so strong that it has made the viewers change their view towards the green house effect. This documentary movie represents all the negative impacts of the green house gases which cause the disasters such as hurricanes, tsunamis, earth quacks etc which, according to the movie, we (humans) have emitted into the atmosphere. In many high schools, this movie had/has become part of the course that all the students are required to do assignment on this documentary. I had watched this movie in the senior year of my high school and wrote a paper on “How we are leading our planet to destruction.” After watching this movie, I completely believed in what is shown. It had changed my perception
