COURSE DESCRIPTION: Business Law 2276 is an advanced course in Canadian Business Law. The course aims to make students aware of various legal issues which arise in the operation of a typical business, and to give students the tools and knowledge required to analyze these issues and participate in their resolution. The course will use practical examples to illustrate these concepts, including actual cases, current events in the business news and examples from the instructor’s own experience. Students will be expected to learn various legal principles and then be able to apply those principles to new fact situations. The emphasis will be on using actual cases to identify legal issues and develop the ability to analyze those issues and evaluate potential solutions. COURSE OBJECTIVES:
