Getting started with distant learning is easy. Depending on which college you choose, will decide which program you will be working with. I am currently taking courses through the University of Phoenix as part of their Axia program. Axia is an online degree program providing students the opportunity to work on Associate degrees or certain types of certification. When your classes begin you will be required to take part in Discussion Questions, in order to comply you simply respond to the proposed question and then give other students feedback on their response all by posting what is called a thread in the specified chat room area The chat room area is one of the three forums that you will visit in order to participate in the distant learning environment. The second forum is called the main forum, where you will find information on the specific class. The third and final forum is the individual forum where you can locate and post your personal
