8 Secrets to a Knockout Business Presentation Dig Deep: Find something startling and interesting and relevant to rope your audience in with. Avoid Info Overload: Keep to the simple and necessary facts, to many facts gets confusing. Practice Delivery: Know what you’re going to say and when you want to say it. Forget Comedy: working joke into a presentation is a risky move that should be avoided all together. Pick Powerful Props: Use only the props that allow you to enhance your point not distract from it. Minimize You: When preparing your presentation be sure to be audience focused instead of pointing out personal achievements point out how your achievement can help them reach their goals. Speak the Language: Consider your audience and try to chose your words so that they do not alienate any one who will be listening. Simple Slides: When presenting a slide show keep your slide simple and easy to take in with this method your audience will be able to process more of the point you are trying to present.
