Distant Learning When I started working with the University of Phoenix I found the online environment to be intimidating to say the least. The reason I found this fast pace, self focused environment intimidating was because everything has its own certain place to be found and responded to. With these challenges in mind I have also found a great number of resources available to help me maneuver through these small but daunting challenges. Distant learning has given me the opportunity to continue my education and work toward the dreams I thought would have to wait for several more years. I truly thought that I would have to wait until they were both full time students before I ever got close to become a student again myself. With the University of Phoenix and their online classes I can still be a helper in my sons pre-k class one minute, and a devoted student the next. My opinion of the University of Phoenix and their distant learning program has evolved from intimidating and challenging to a clear and guiding path of success....
