1. What kind of relationship does the letter describe? Unlike other mother-daughter relationships, I may describe their relationship as a bit tough because there are a gap and misunderstanding between them. It is a toxic relationship wherein the daughter can’t be able to open up herself or can’t be able to tell her mother her problems. 2. Who are involved in the relationship? Describe each character. A mother and her daughter Shane. A daughter with trust issues and struggling in telling her problems to other people and a mother who is very thoughtful of her daughter. A mother who will not let a child go down on her own and embrace traumatic problems. 3. What roles does each character play in the relationship? The mother's role is shepherding her daughter. Her primary task is to make her daughter walk in the right direction. To guide her and give her the feeling of not being distant from everyone else. She has to evangelize her daughter because she was given the duty to be the steward of her offspring. On the other hand, the daughter's role is someone with a young mind who needs to be advised and guided to be considerate towards other people to develop harmonious relations at home and outside the home.
