NTRODUCTION
OOD lighting plays an important role in safeguarding
health and safety of people when driving in the road.
Accordingly, there should be an appropriate amount
and level of lighting falling on the surface for the driver to see
the road. Excessive contrast and strong glare in their fields of
visions are also inappropriate as it induces greater eye strain.

This paper is intended to design a rural and minor highway
that is qualifying with the standards for illumination.

To identify if the roadway complies with the illumination
standards

To determine the factors affecting the illumination of the
roadway
3)
To propose an improved lighting system for the roadway

The materials mentioned below were used to implement
the design and experiment of the assigned establishment and
each material used is provided with an actual image and a
brief explanation about the operation of each material used.

Dialux Evo 8.2
Dialux Evo 8.2 is a free software where you can design,
calculate, and visualize light professionally from single rooms,
whole floors, buildings, and outdoor scenes. You can also
design complete buildings, daylight, and streets.
