Development of A Research Proposal The Development of A Research Proposal A research proposal is meant to convince others that your team has a worthwhile project. The proposal is a formal means of communication between the requestor and the proposer of research (Davis, 2008). A research converts mangers concerns into management problems which then turn into research problems. With any research proposal you would generally use the key elements from the research process. However no matter what subject you are researching or what method you use for your researcher, all proposals should answer: What do you plan to accomplish, Why do you want to accomplish this and how are you going to accomplish this? From a managers perspective of the overall research proposal is to have a well written proposal that can guarantee that the researcher understands the managerial problem. This will help to avoid any misspecified or misunderstood problems at hand (Davis, 2008). It also allows the manager to assess the proposed research method and helps management judge the relative value and quality of the proposed investigation. This leads to management control which
