13:24 Question 3-2     The contingency fee system definitely has some social benefits. Firstly,  consumers and workers benefit from the system big time. The contingency fee  system is the key to the courthouse for an average injured consumer or worker.  Consumers or workers who have been injured can hire top legal representation  and pay them when and if they receive a judgment or settlement. If a lawyer and  client lose a case, then the lawyer doesn't get paid one cent, and may even have  to absorb legal expenses that were incurred in handling the case. Thus,  contingency fees provide a powerful motivation to the attorney to work diligently  on the client's case. However, contingency fees do not guarantee civil justice, or even access to the  courts. Lawyers sometimes choose only the strongest claims, which are most  likely to succeed. Not all cases are immediately transparent. Some require
