Do we buy products or do we buy brands? It is very interesting question. I think that we buy both, it s just depends on what we are looking for and what needs and wants we are trying to satisfy. For example, if I would make a decision between one post card and another, I would not care what brand name is written on any of this. It is just a post card and I don’t need it to have super fashion brand name on. On the other hand, if I would buy cosmetics, car or some other expansive product/service (those product which would make me feel different about myself, my lifestyle, or recognition) I would definitely buy the brand name. In this type on decision making process, about what brand name to choose, most of the people would make a decision accordingly to they social status, lifestyle, self-expression, sense of security and much more. I think the brand name is very important in consumer decisions. It helps buyers to identify product, quality and benefits they can get out of the product. It is really hard to think about the product which brand name is not
