The business started in 1981, in a college town by two men who craved New York style wings. The cliental was mainly made of sports-minded college men. Buffalo Wild Wings has been on Forbess top 200 Small Business list for three consecutive years. Their sales earnings in the last twelve months have been a massive $488 million. Their net income for the last twelve months is $28 million with a net margin of six percent. In addition, their market value is $700 million. (Forbes.com) Organizational vision, mission, and objectives Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar claims to be guest driven. This means that they want to provide excellent customer service and a friendly atmosphere. (Buffalo Wild Wings, INC, 2009) They want to impress the customers in order to establish a loyal cliental. It has come to knowledge that Buffalo Wild Wings has failed miserably at this quest. It is documented, that there are several requests for better customer service and management. (Buffalo Wild Wings Complaints, 2009) As with most businesses, customer service is a vital part of a business. If the customers are not satisfied then they will most likely not return. Each manager of a business is to uphold the reputation of the organization. (EDGAR Online, LLC, 1995-2009) One way to improve the reputation of poor customer service is to stay on top of the complaints, visit the location site of the complaints, and evaluate their performance. M c G r e w | 3 Buffalo Wild Wings also claims that they are team players. They strive to employ the best people for the job with excellent training and treat them well, offering competitive wages. In addition, the company claims to be community orientated and dedicated to their franchises and stakeholders.
