Explain why each one of the following items are important issues in preparing for an interview: Interview goal, background information on the interview subject, interviewer selected, and location of interview. The interview goal is important because the interviewer must determine whether to clear the interviewee as a suspect or focus on the person as a possible suspect. An interviewer does not want to waste time on someone who is innocent. I would want to determine if further questioning is required from the individual. Obtaining background information on the interview subject is very important because it may help in determining if there is a possible motive. Is there a pattern available? Is there any past experiences that are similar? If there is a motive then the interviewer will have an idea what kind of rationalization that are similar?...
