Unformatted text preview: MATH 471: Actuarial Theory I Midterm #2 November 10, 2010 General Information: 1) There are 9 problems for a total of 50 points. 2) You have between 7:00-8:50pm to write the midterm. 3) You may refer to both sides of one 3in X 5in notecard. 4) You may use a non-graphing scientific and/or financial calculator. 5) Anyone still writing the midterm must stop when I call time (at 8:50pm) and promptly turn in their exam booklet. Failure to do so may result in a grade of 0. 6) Make sure you have your university ID on your desk. Anyone who writes the midterm and does not follow the seating chart may receive a grade of 0, unless previously approved by me. 7) Anyone caught cheating will receive a grade of 0. Midterm Instructions: 1) Put your name and lecture time on the cover of the exam booklet. 2) Make sure that ALL your work is shown in the exam booklet.
