Yes I think that Roy would be a great supervisor. He has been with the company for 15 years, knows the business very well, and works well with the other employees and supervisors. Roy is dependable, trustworthy, he has proven that he is capable of being in a supervising position, and he is respected by all of his co-workers and superiors. He has also proven that he is capable of handling the position by being the union president for the last three years. I do agree that a good supervisor needs to know how to handle people. I think that the employees would be happy for Roy getting the promotion to supervisor. I also think that they would be happy for themselves that they now have a supervisor that they already know and feel they can rely on. They respect Roy and know that they can work well with him. They also know that as a supervisor, Roy will treat them fairly and show them respect....
