I handed out a survey to my family to decide their total interest in how their careers would end up while they were at different stages of their lives. The results were actually quite interesting. I will start with my mother. She is 53 years old and is very dedicated to her career. I have grown up watching my work very hard all of my life. I would believe that she has always had this same dedication to her work. I learned from this survey that while my mother was in high school she was not very concerned with where her life would end up career wise. This was a slight shock to me, considering how hard she pushed me doing that time of my life. Sometime during college it started to sink in that my mother was going to have to take this seriously, and because of this change she is the woman she is today. My step-father was always a hard worker. During high school he was already working construction and little side jobs. He knew he was going to have to work hard to have the things he wants in life. He did not attend college so he was working hard
