While performing any work that it is necessary to use Microsoft Word the user will need full understanding of how to correctly save the document. Saving the document at different times during the work will insure that the work will always be saved in case something happens and the progress on the document is lost. Practicing saving the work at different stages of completion is a very good habit to perform. Once the user decides on a time to conduct a save of the document, these are the steps that will be needed to ensure the document is saved properly. 1. Move the cursor to the file tab at the upper left corner of the screen. If the user is on Microsoft Word 2007, the user will go to the Microsoft Office logo in the upper left corner, and click on the logo. 2. Clicking should open a drop down menu. Scroll down to where the menu has the icon marked “Save As.” 3. After Clicking on the icon “Save As” an additional menu will appear to the right of the original menu. (Note: This will only happen if the user is using Microsoft Word 2007)

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
