Who can benefit from Limited Equity Cooperatives? • Stake Holders Procter and Gamble will be establishing this association, and guiding its progress. • Members of local communities and local businesses. They can easily become integrated into the co-op and take part in the benefits. • Who has an invested interest in developing a limited equity cooperative? • 3 11 4/ /1 Alliances The members of the community that establish the limited equity cooperative will have an alliance with Procter and Gamble. Procter and Gamble is giving the foundation for the limited equity cooperative to form and plans to guide the involved individuals to form a successful co-op. • Local businesses will also have an interest 3 11 4/ /1 What are some of the problems that have arisen in an attempt to start this project? • These are already abandoned buildings that we would be restoring. We wouldn’t be building this community near Central Park. There would be few complaints if any, because we are going to an essentially deserted area.
