Each state is different in how they pick the electors, most political parties will nominate them at conventions and are picked because of their dedication. 2. What do electors do? Electors go to their respective state capitol and place their votes for the president on the Monday after the second Wednesday of December of the election year. 3. How many electors does each state have? The number of electors a state has is determined by the amount of members it has in the House of Representatives and how many senate members it has, the District of Columbia is given three votes. 4. How many electors will Ok. have in the next presidential election? The state of Oklahoma will have 8 electors participating in the next presidential election. 5.
