Rikki Norton Microeconomics Chapter 12 Questions for Review (2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8) 2. The burden of a tax to taxpayers is greater than the revenue received by the government  because of administrative burdens. An administrative burden includes the amount of time  taxpayers spend filling out forms for income taxes, the time spent keeping track of all records,  and the resources the government uses to enforce the laws.  3. One reason wealthy taxpayers should have to pay more taxes then lower income taxpayers is  because the rich take more from the government. Another reason is that they use energy is  unuseful manners.  4. The corporate profits are taxed for the amount the corporation receives for the goods and  services it sells minus the costs of producing those goods or services. They are taxed once by  the corporate income tax and then taxed again by the individual income tax.
