WILLIAM BORDELON March 21, 2010 The Crackwalker I believe that this play is called  The Crackwalker  for many reasons  that were never fully addressed during the play. The first reason, I believe it  was called this because of the mental capabilities of Theresa and Alan.  With the science known today, I believe that they both were the spawns of  mothers who used the drug crack when they were pregnant for the two of  them. Secondly, I believe that Joe and Alan both were influenced by the  Crackwalker, but obviously at two different times during the play. Joe  seemed to be influenced by the Crackwalker at the beginning of the play,  while Alan seemed to be the somewhat sane one. Even though Alan was a  little slow, he seemed to really care for Theresa and would never hurt her.  Joe, on the other hand, was very unfaithful and beat the living shit out of his  wife, Sandy, after all night alcohol and drug binges. These roles seemed to
