Alex Yancey Schlarb English 1102 September 23, 2009 Annotated Bibliography Barendregt, Jan, Johan Mackenbach, J Veerman, and Eduard Van Beeck. “By How Much Would Limiting TV Food Advertising Reduce Childhood Obesity?” European Journal of Public Health 19.4 (2009): 365-369. Print. This article from European Journal of Public Health summarizes the results from an experiment that tests to find how much TV food advertising effects childhood obesity. The authors take the readers through the entire experiment in detail; the methods, results, and discussions of limitations are all explained. I believe this article will be helpful because it will add a scientific source for my paper. Because this journal is well received by the scientific community, readers will take this study seriously. I like that the article includes graphs and tables to make it easier to decipher the results. However, this article is purely scientific and lacks opinionated claims that I could have added to my paper.
