Test 1- The test will cover Chapters 1,2,3, 4 and 5. The exam is 50 questions, multiple choice. Material will mostly come from lectures and power points. The book will be a good resource for better understanding the material we have covered in class. I. Chapter 1 1. What is Psychology? 2. What is Hindsight bias? 3. What are the three main components of the scientific attitude? 4. Understand the Scientific method and components involved with that (Theory, hypothesis, etc.) 5. Why is random assignment important in conducting experiments? 8. Know the differences between an independent and dependent variable. 9.
