Unformatted text preview: REFLECTION ESSAY MIKHAEL BOEDHI-TJAHJONO Throughout this term I have had to write a number of essays using variety of techniques. We were asked to write 5 types of essay this term. They are description, narration, example, compare and contrast, and argumentation. Before college, I would write assuming that the only reader, or audience, would be my teacher. Composition helped me to realize the many steps that are involved in the writing process from free writing to making a final copy. However, in order to create a good essay paper you need to organize your ideas well. Also, I realized what needs to be in an essay and what doesn’t. Furthermore, I have improved in my writing process by taking this class but the organization has always been my major problem, and even though I have made a progress. I still believe that I have not fully succeed on this area but I’m going to improve it by time goes.
