5 Points on what most instructors expect their students to do. - Most college instructors will judge you to be an adult. They usually will not think of themselves as having authority over people. (This point reminds me about when I took the writing 115 and failed the class. The instructor expects to me have a written letter from the doctor if I sick and cannot go to class.) - Our college requires most instructors to be on campus a certain number of hours per week and to keep office hours so that students can visit them. (This point reminds me about when I am in desperately needed a help from instructor, which usually a math class and no tutor available for me. It so much an important point to have.) - It is common for students to feel nervous about asking a question in class. They are afraid of asking a “stupid question”. (This is so true and this is the way I learn new things and to have a good grade, without a handy note that you have to take it in class, you would probably failed in class since most instructor have their test based on their lecture given in class.-Teachers generally expect that you and other students will do your homework and reading assignments on time.
