EME OLYMPIAD 2010 The Idea of CEME to hold an Educational and Social event, was coined by the students, the notion was so exhilarating that the students wanted to make it official. The College Authorities readily welcomed it and hence the first ever Mega-Student-Event of the Twin-City is well on its way. The EME Olympiad 2010 is unique by nature because this is an event completely introduced by the students, for the students. All the events, administration, finance and human resource management are under student supervision. The idea was not only to hold an Olympiad but also to allow students of College of EME to have a first hand opportunity to polish their administration skills. The different teams established in this regard are already active and determined to make this event a complete success. The College DEAN Brig. Akhtar Nawaz has willingly accepted the proposal of the EME Olympiad, this event will not only comprise NUST Colleges throughout Islamabad and Rawalpindi but also other Educational Institutions both High School and Universities. A minimum count of Invited Institutions is roughly around 60-65 comprising 20 Universities and around 40 High Schools at Intermediate level. This event will no doubt create a general harmony among the youth throughout the Twin-City. This Student friendly initiative will certainly act as an initial spark and create a competitive atmosphere among all the educational institutions. The College of EME has since long been known for its academic achievements, now it has taken the initiative into social fields as well. The three main governing student body societies particularly of NUST Institutions are supporting this mammoth event. The EME Olympiad 2010 will be a technical, arts and sports extravaganza. These are completely student managed and student maintained wings. Society for the Promotion of Arts and Literature (SPAL)
