In the table below, the “Result” column is true if and only if the English sentence actually holds in that model. The simplest possible sentence is WinInTennis ⇔ MoreSets . (b) CanDrink = You are allowed to drink Aged 21 = You are aged 21 or above There are a couple of reasonable ways to interpret the given sentence. The stricter interpretation is the equivalent of “At a minimum, you must be aged above 21 to be allowed to drink”. An alternative, looser interpretation is that “Whenever you are aged above 21, you are allowed to drink.” For the stricter interpretation, the answer is ¬ Aged 21 ⇒ ¬ CanDrink , or equivalently CanDrink ⇒ Aged 21.
