Plain Form 나 나는 나도 Humble Form 저 저는 저도 1) Friendliness/Friends and younger person: 2) Politeness/ Seniors and older person: 2. “ 너 ” (You) Korean has personal pronouns such as 저 / 나 , but the range of pronominal expressions is much narrower than in English. And usage is very limited. In referring to the listener, which is 너 ‘you’, pronouns are rarely used, but names and titles are used instead. For example, Michael is speaking to Sophia, and refers to her with 소피아 씨 . That is , a name, 소피아 , instead of a pronoun (e,g., 너 ‘you’), is used to refer to the listener. Ex) [What is your name?] A: 이름이 뭐예요 ? B: 저는 에밀리예요 . [Are you a teacher?] A: 에밀리 씨는 선생님이에요 ?
