The normal cognitive developments of children are as follows birth -2: at infancy, babies start to learn their senses. they put objects in their mouths, they turn their heads around 4 months, follow toys with their eyes, they know their family members; mom, dad, and siblings. Simple task such as crying to get picked up, knows the main family. They hold toys; shake their heads, and waves by. Early childhood 2-6: to use formal logical operations in school, question the rules and regulations. They can draw circles, lines, and other marks. Tries to use toys in new ways, can name pictures, people or things. Put things together, like little puzzles, and knows when now and later is. Drawing people is fun, builds towers out of blocks. Knows colors and shapes, and their age. Middle childhood 6-10: kids are spending less time with their families, the issues of peer

Children can play outdoors in a complex way, using the skills that they have already learned. Early adolescence 10-14: more complex thinking process, consider many point of view, abstract thinking. Logical relationships with a problem. The thought process is now formal logical, they also have their own view or points about the world. The logical operations can be put to everyday use rather in school, or work. Facts may influence their decision making. Late adolescence 14-18: at this age teens are more understanding of abstract ideas, they understand others have different ideas from them.
