Josie need to step up and take action for her health issues. Even if she has different beliefs and values on health care. Josie don’t have any reason not to be seen by a doctor. She says that she just don’t have time. Josie is a chain smoker with hypertension and a stressful job, her grandson is in the hospital, and she’s worried about walking to work. She don’t exercise, and eats a lot of fast food. One thing that Josie said was that she can’t walk because there have been mugging in the area where she work. If that’s the case then why doesn’t Josie walk around the office building to get exercise? The beliefs that a family can bestow before you could be, that doctors are only in it for the money and not the patient care. Behaviors

If a person was raised not going the doctor for treatment then, they are not going to go when they reach adulthood. Preventing these types of actions or disease is mainly based on the person. If you cant stop smoking, then cut back, its not the best but it will help with any illness. Or if the neighborhood is bad then you can always exercise at work, or instead of driving to get lunch they can walk together. If you cant prevent a issue, there are ways to get around it....
